Hello Everyone,

Just a note to let everyone know some of the events taking place in the Lambuth Music Department for the rest of November and December, 2009.

Sunday, November 15 at 10:50am - The Lambuth Choir (under the direction of Mrs. Carrie Prewitt) will be singing at the morning services of the Brown’s UMC in Jackson, TN.

Tuesday, November 17 at 1:00pm - The Lambuth Choir (under the direction of Mrs. Carrie Prewitt) will be singing at the weekly chapel services of Lambuth.

Thursday, November 19 at 7:00pm - The Lambuth Choir (under the direction of Mrs. Carrie Prewitt) will present their annual fall concert in the Womack Chapel of Lambuth University. 

Sunday, November 29 at 3:00pm - The Eroica Ensemble (comprised of musicians from the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Memphis Symphony and other organizations) will be returning to Lambuth for the second time this semester to present an ALL NEW program of Vivaldi, Schumann and Beethoven.  The concert will take place in the Womack Chapel on the campus of Lambuth University.

Tuesday, December 1 at 7:00pm - The Lambuth University Wind Ensemble and the Lambuth Jazz Band (both under the direction of Dr. Derek Jones) will perform the works of Holst, Sousa, and others at their annual fall concert in the Hamilton Ballroom on the campus of Lambuth University.

Sunday, December 6 at 5:30pm - The Lambuth Brass Ensemble (under the direction of Dr. Lee Weimer) and the Lambuth Concert Choir (under the direction of Mrs. Carrie Prewitt) will perform at the annual Lambuth University Candlelight Service in the Womack Chapel.
